War Results 7/27/07

Good week. Good stuff. A couple things: Upkeep assessment and rule changes will be posted sometime between now and thursday. Probably closer to thursday.

I saw more movement this week than in any week before, and the first battle of the war (more on that later!).

Actions are due Friday @ the usual time, since I've got stuff to update during the mid-week.

Scary news from Thorbardin! It seems the Mercenaries stormed the place, using an earth elemental to reduce the fortifications to rubble! The dwarves were outnumbered three to one, and actually managed to do some damage to the horde. In the end our noble brothers fought and died for nothing, as Thorbardin is now in Mercenary hands. Perhaps some kind of steam-powered-Mercenary-displacement-device could be mailed to their king? One thing we know for sure is that the dwarven King escaped the carnage, fleeing elsewhere. Perhaps someday he can reclaim his throne.

The Mercenary army seems to be an ever larger blot on central Ansalon, as ever more of the plains of dust fall to their outlying forces.

In Kalaman the citizens seem worried, as a great many of them reported a party of strangers in town, though they departed as quickly as they came.

Farther east in Blode, the Dragonarmies have subjugated the native ogres and goblins, forcing them into slavery as they did in ancient times.

In local news, The elves of Ergonost have secured Daltigoth from Marauder, bringing security to the region, and hopefully preventing any more goblin incursions towards Mount Nevermind.
